Cold Ice Extensions
Seamless length. Beautiful density. A signature, heat-free approach to hair extensions, installed with a specialised nano-gel and activator.
A heat-free installation method.
Cold Ice Extensions are installed without a heated tool. The bond is created using a specialised nano-gel and an activator, forming a flat, discreet, nearly transparent attachment point.
It is the atelier's signature installation method — one option among several, chosen only when it suits the client in front of us. Whether it is appropriate for your hair is decided during a professional consultation.

Five deliberate stages.
- 01
Consultation and assessment
Your hair type, density, condition, and styling routine are reviewed in person, and your goals are discussed before anything is installed.
- 02
Sectioning and preparation
Hair is cleansed and prepared, then divided into precise sections so each attachment point can be placed deliberately.
- 03
Nano-gel application
A specialised nano-gel is applied to form the bond between your hair and the extension — no heated installation tool is used.
- 04
Activation
An activator sets the bond, forming a flat, discreet attachment point designed to sit close to the hair.
- 05
Blending and styling
Lengths are cut, blended, and styled so the finished result reads as your own hair.
The reasons we hear most.
- No heated installation tool is used.
- Bonds are flat, discreet, and nearly transparent.
- Results are designed to look seamless when styled in different ways.
- Placement is matched to hair type and lifestyle.
- The method is selected through consultation, not assumption.
Before anything is installed.
- A close look at your natural hair, density, and condition.
- A conversation about your routine, styling habits, and maintenance preferences.
- A discussion of the methods that could suit you — and those that may not.
- Colour matching, length, and placement planning.
- Clear next steps and what your appointment would involve.

Your hair decides the method.
Fine, medium, and dense hair each behave differently, and so do different routines: how often you wash, how you sleep, whether you train daily, how much time you have for maintenance.
These factors are weighed together during your consultation. If Cold Ice Extensions are not the most appropriate option for you, we will say so and discuss the alternatives available at the atelier.
Other techniques at the atelier.
The right choice depends on your hair, lifestyle, desired result, and maintenance preferences.
Tape-In Extensions
Pre-taped wefts placed in thin sections. A familiar, quickly installed method often explored by clients who prefer straightforward maintenance appointments.
Keratin Fusion
Individual strands attached with small keratin bonds. Offers detailed placement and movement, and suits certain hair densities better than others.
Hand-Tied Wefts
Slim, hand-tied wefts sewn onto a beaded foundation for a flat result. Often considered for added fullness with a smooth lay.
Genius / Flat Wefts
Machine-made wefts with a thin, cut-to-fit edge. Frequently chosen when a low-profile row is the priority.
Microlinks
Individual strands secured with small links and no adhesive. A method some clients explore when they prefer a heat-free, glue-free approach.
Nano Rings
A smaller-scale version of the link method, using very fine rings for discreet attachment points.
Halo Pieces
A temporary, wearable piece placed on an invisible wire. Ideal for clients who want length for an occasion without a semi-permanent install.

Cared for, not guessed at.
Aftercare depends on the method installed and on your own hair. Your stylist provides personalised guidance at the end of your appointment, including how to wash, brush, sleep, and book maintenance.
Placeholder: detailed written aftercare instructions, recommended products, and maintenance intervals are to be confirmed by the atelier before publication.
